1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using WebQR ("Service," "we," "us," or "our") at webqr.io.vn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
WebQR provides online tools for:
- Scanning QR codes using your device camera
- Generating custom QR codes from text, URLs, and other data
- Creating short URLs for easy sharing
- Downloading and sharing QR codes
The Service is provided free of charge and is accessible via web browsers on desktop and mobile devices.
3. User Accounts and Registration
Currently, WebQR does not require user registration. The Service is available for immediate use without creating an account. We reserve the right to introduce user accounts in the future.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Create QR codes or short URLs that link to illegal, harmful, or malicious content
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Engage in phishing, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Create excessive load on our infrastructure
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Our Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by WebQR and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you create using our Service (QR codes, short URLs, etc.). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display this content as necessary to provide the Service.
5.3 QR Codes
QR codes you generate are yours to use freely. The underlying QR code technology is an open standard. You may use generated QR codes for personal or commercial purposes.
6. User-Generated Content
You are responsible for the content you create using our Service. We do not pre-screen user-generated content but reserve the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates these Terms.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to use the content
- Your content does not violate any third-party rights
- Your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be:
- Always available or uninterrupted
- Free from errors or bugs
- Secure or immune from attacks
- Compatible with all devices or browsers
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Short URLs you created may be deleted at our discretion.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WEBQR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WebQR and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content you create or share using the Service
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by WebQR. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
You acknowledge and agree that WebQR shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss caused by use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available through third-party websites.
14. DMCA Copyright Policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe that content on our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with:
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The location of the infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
- A statement under penalty of perjury

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For users in the European Union, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence. For users in the United States, you may have rights under federal and state consumer protection laws.
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Informal Resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
16.2 Arbitration (US Users)
For users in the United States, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
16.3 EU Users
EU users may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WebQR regarding the use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
